continue to be the least familiar with obama care. new gallop poll shows 37% are not familiar with obama care. good to see both of you today. >> thank you for having us. emily, how do you sustain this program with the glitches. you look at this poll. the young people who you need to sign up, only 63% are aware of what it is. what is going on? >> it is not all that surprise that go young people are the category that have the least information. they have the least contact with the health care system all together. if we look at what is actually happening and the states release the numbers of who is signing up. we are seeing that the quarter of the people who are signing up overall, kentucky has year a a third. young people are actually signing up under the law and are continuing to do so. if your friend signs up, you will be more interested in going into it. chris, these numbers are dismal for this administration right now. supposedly they needed the 7.5 million to make this thing run. it doesn't look like you could possibly get there. it doesn't. speaking of the friends and neighbors

page on obama care. today the president kicks off a new three week campaign to refocus the public's attention on the positive aspects of the health care law. what does that entail? >> this is what democrats wanted for two years. they say every day between now and december 23rd they will do some event to talk about each day one different good part of the health care law in their view. the idea is they got to do something about this sinking poll numbers for health care reform. they got to recalibrate the debate gaven they went through the worst possible coverage of the roll out. the question is, can that work. if the site does work. if people does start to get health care coverage you'll get a different debate. the question is how much damage was done and is this thing fixed? you guys had a good conversation yesterday on the show yes the front end fixed but is the back end fixed in a way to lead people getting coverage that they can trust that insurance companies know what benefits they are getting as far as subsidy from the government to provide. >> if you go on this big campaign to

kudlow. this is "the kudlow report." we're here live, 7:00 p.m. eastern, 4:00 p.m. pacific. new obama care enrollment numbers out. there are still glitches everywhere apparently. steve handelsman joins us with the details. >> reporter: the website's better but it doesn't mean it's good. the nbc news estimate is that 100,000 americans in november signed up for coverage using healthcare.gov. that's a much better number than in october. but it's way worse than what a dozen or so state exchanges have signed up. today administration sources said by 5:30 p.m. eastern time, the site had 750,000 visits. it slowed down at times. some people got "please wait" messages, so-called queuing going on but no crashes or freezes. but there's the back-end problem. like amazon.com. to work, it has to kick out a command for a lightbulb to be sent to you. that's the back end. healthcare.gov has a back end that sends an 834 file to insurance companies. no one will reveal how many or what percentage. but too many of those 834 files are bad. hard to decipher? impossible to use, some of them. so people who think th

obama will start a new push for the health care go website. in any event at the white house he will highlight people he says have been helped by his health care reform law and website. --healthcar.gov website. in an event. the president also is expected to said the republicans want to strip away benefits without offering an alternative. the government saying most of the glitches on the health care.gov website have now been fixed. and now that the health care.gov website is supposed to be running smoother, consumers are reporting mixed success as they try and lock on to the updated health-care exchange. brokers and online and sisters in utah say three of every four people want to sign up for coverage of the federal government on one exchange are succeeding within an hour of walking in. navigators and wisconsin, illinois, alabama and north dakota reported a vast improvement. the website is serving as a health-care exchange for 36 states which did not refuse to set up their own website. california has its own unchanged at coveredca.com has also had some problems. our state exchange has

looking to turn the page on obama care. today the president will kick off a new three-week campaign to refocus the public's attention to the positive aspects of the health care law. senior administration officials tell politico the white house will target different benefits of the law each day leading up to the december 23rd deadline to receive coverage by the beginning of the new year. roughly 100,000 people signed up for health insurance through the federal exchange last month. of course, up from the under 27,000 who successfully signed up for coverage in the month of october. meanwhile, the white house picked up a key legal victory yesterday as the supreme court said it would not hear a case challenging the law's employer mandate. however, a new poll shows one key group president obama was hoping would sign up for coverage, the so-called young invincibles, is the least informed about the law. gallup finds just 63% of adults under the age of 30 say they are familiar with the law. that's at least nine points lower than any other group, suggesting the white house, well, they've got
